m-cast Schedulers
The m-cast system has four levels of schedulers to match market needs and price points.  All of the schedulers can work with websites, Powerpoint slides, bitmap images and photographs, Flash animation and high quality digital video.  More advanced schedulers can control live television feeds and use the m-cast XPert system to respond to local events using a proprietary heuristic rules system.

Personal Scheduler is designed for individual users operating the entire m-cast system on a single computer (say in an office reception area or in a small retail store). 

Network Scheduler is designed to manage up to 100 player computers in one or more locations.  Each player can have its own unique schedule but use a common pool of media.  The system can be upgraded to schedule live television.  An m-cast Network system requires each connected computer to have a standard m-cast Player System installed on each Player computer.   

XPert Scheduler is designed to manage up to 2,000 players in one or more locations.  The XPert Scheduler allows more controls and reporting on media, schedules and Players.  It also allows users to define rules that will make m-cast respond to external events like:

• When a customer is checking out a basket of groceries, m-cast can analyze the items brought, imply from that demographic information about the customer and trigger the appropriate offer to make to that particular customer; 
• When a barcode is scanned, m-cast will interrupt its normal playlist to show information about the product being scanned;
• When a particular flight is announced in a departure gate, screens around the gate begin to display advertising for hotels and restaurants for the gates flight destination;
• When a football match starts, a trigger sent from head office causes nominated players to all switch to the ball game and switch back during the ad-breaks;
• When a casino jackpot goes off, the m-cast will evaluate the location and value of the jackpot, and trigger a particular "Winner" animation, with the payout value and location onto nominated screens in the casino.

The XPert system is ideal for managing larger networks or where rules or local triggers are required. The XPert system can also automate schedule formatting, with an artificial intelligence system to ensure that like products from similar manufacturers are as far away from each other as possible. And that companion products (say chocolate and cola) are as close as possible to each other. The XPert system can also manage the inclusion of "filler" spots within the schedule, automatically placing community awareness, news and local calendar events in the schedule.  

The m-cast Omnimax Scheduler is designed to book advertising and promotional material onto vast screen networks.  Networks of 2,000 - 100,000 screens can be managed by this sophisticated system.
